This plugin is excellent. The best way to load standard Audio Unit (macOS) or VST3 plugins into OBS. Before this plugin, the only way to achieve this was to use tools like Element from Kushview as a plugin host with the native OBS SVT2 plugin filter.
This plugin makes it much easier. It works also quite reliable. There were some glitches in between, but they were fixed with updates even before I could make an error report.
The GUI of this plugin is also better than the VST2 plugin version of OBS and it even allows for directly selecting a side chain from any OBS source. Wonderful.
The ATK device IO works for me better even than Exeldro's audio monitor. Less audio glitches when the CPU has some more work to do and on Windows there seem to be less problems when the audio source gets restarted (TV, XR18 etc.).
I haven't used the ATK mixer function a lot, as well as the newer ATK plugin 2 (patch bay) version, so I can't make any review on these functions.
I suggest this ATK filter to everybody who wants to improve their audio quality in OBS, it can take it to the next level, while still being quick and easy to use (compared to using an extra VST2 plugin host). Definitely worth leaving some donations for on their website, although, unfortunately, it only allows for a monthly/yearly donation subscription instead of a one-time donation. Maybe they change this in the future.
BTW:
In the current screenshots of this plugin, the author included the Audio Unit plugin "AUSoundIsolation" (from Apple, only available on MacOS).
This is a very good option for voice isolation. It removes background noise and even reverb from vocal content.
We use this A LOT, on every single microphone we are using in our setup. Very low CPU usage compared to Waves Clarity VX and similar plugins while keeping the original voice unmodified as in contrast to Accentize DXRevive or (even worse) the Crumplepop voice enhancer. Less artifacts than the OBS build-in noise reduction options (when used below 95% in AUSoundIsolation - don't set it to 100%) or Bertom Denoise. But it adds around 40ms extra latency, which is kind of standard for this kind of plugins (except Bertom etc).
